Laurie and I could start listing a gazillion games, crafts, and devotions but there could literally be thousand's of them. So, Let's do this...
On this page we will list sites to go to that already have games, crafts, and devotions that are updated regularly. In addition, in the New & Old Testament Sections, the Visionary Notebook, and in the _____________ we will list those that we use over and over again in our lesson rotations
First up...
childrensministry.com
Once on the homepage, click on the "Bible Activities" down arrow. There you will get to choose games, crafts or devotions and from there you can choose Ages birth -2, Ages 3-5, Ages 6-9 or Ages 10-12. On this site there are over 50 pages of easy to follow Bible Activities. Each page has 10 activities...Yep, that's over 500 battle tested activities to choose from.
Another good site is Vibrantfaithathome. Yes, you can take advantage of their four subscription options(three of which only have a one time fee) or you can gain access to their free stuff by going to the home page, scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking on one of the "Explore Activities" pictures. You might be interested in the "Just for Kids," "Young Family" or "Teen Family" sections.
Each season--spring, summer, winter, fall--vibrant posts more than fifty new faith-forming activities and articles.
Looking for another 300+ games to choose from (and a whole lot more)? Visit YouthPastor.com. This site started out in 1994 as a class project of some students at crown college. The project was to compile a "Youth Ministry Resource Notebook" that they could take with them to their first ministry location. Twenty years later the site the site still exists and continues to be updated....and the best part? It is FREE!
